Merritt joined the Flourish team in 2020 and leads efforts focused around account coordination, digital marketing, strategic planning, public relations, and more. Merritt is a graduate of the University of North Alabama where she received a bachelor’s degree in public relations.

Prior to joining Flourish, Merritt served in roles with Athens Main Street, where she planned the popular downtown event, Fridays After Five, and worked closely with local restaurants and shops to create a fun environment for the community. In addition, she supported the Shoals Chamber of Commerce where she led content creation efforts for local area businesses.
